Happy Halloween!

The howling
starts on your street,
after sunset,
very late in the evening.

The moon is full
and the sun is long gone,
light and good
have moved on.

The howling screams
it's loud Happy Halloween!
Bared teeth and bones
with jaws that bite.

Blood drips and creeps crawl
on Halloween night.
Slinking down
your street
are horrible things that
you do not want to meet.
The howling,
deafening.

Listen
and let your blood freeze.
Oozing and cruising,
slithering and moving...

You pray that
it is just an illusion.
Are you scared to open
your door and greet
the trick or treaters that
trick or treat?
The howling,
it's coming...
be brave or
start running.

A trick or a treat
on this howling Halloween!
The Halloween
howling screaming...
hear it's scary
Halloween greeting!

AWHOOOOOWL!

Happy Halloween!

Bullying arrests... Bout time I say!

Eight teenage girls at a high school in London, Ont., have been arrested in connection with a bullying incident involving another student, police say.
Const. Dennis Rivest of the London Police Service said the eight girls were arrested Thursday.
Police said an investigation revealed that the victim had been the target of physical and emotional bullying, and cyberbullying.
'If we can change behaviours about drinking and driving, if we change behaviours and attitudes around smoking, why can we not change behaviours and attitudes around bullying.'—Bill Tucker, Thames Valley District School Board
The arrested girls face charges of criminal harassment.
Police said information about the bullying came from individuals who came forward in person and through an anonymous reporting web portal, called "South Cares," which is on the London South Collegiate website.
Bill Tucker, director of education at Thames Valley District School Board, said they had 70,000 community members take a pledge last year to end bullying.

Amanda's tormentor named

The tragic story of B.C. teen suicide victim Amanda Todd has taken another bizarre twist as the internet hacking and activist group Anonymous has named a man the group says was the girl's primary tormentor.
Todd, 15, of Port Coquitlam, died last Wednesday, a month after posting a haunting video on YouTube that cited the sexualized attack that set her down a path of anxiety, depression and drug and alcohol abuse.

During her nine-minute video, the teen explains in hand-written notes that she was in Grade 7 when she was lured by an unidentified male to expose her breasts via webcam.

She says that a year later she received a message from a man on Facebook threatening that if she didn't give him a show, he would send the webcam picture to her friends and family. She says police later told her the man followed through with his threat.

Anonymous published the name and address of a Vancouver-area man that the group claims was bullying and preying on Todd via the internet.

The activist group, which often uses a caricature Guy Fawkes mask as its logo, claims the 32-year-old man has also made postings to child pornography sites.

TEEN TORMENT

RCMP in B.C. have confirmed they have launched a full investigation into the circumstances leading to the suicide of Port Coquitlam teen Amanda Todd.

The 15-year-old girl committed suicide in her family home on Wednesday, about a month after posting a video on YouTube saying how she sunk into depression while enduring years of online bullying, blackmail and physical assaults at school.

As part of the investigation, police officers are already reviewing and actively monitoring social media, Sgt. Peter Thiessen said in a statement issued on Friday afternoon.

"Serious crime teams in Coquitlam and Ridge Meadows are working together, conducting interviews and reviewing any potential contributing factors to her death," he said.

In at least one B.C.case, a bully has been convicted of criminal harassment. A 16-year-old girl was convicted in connection with the death of Dawn Marie Wesley, 14, of Maple Ridge, who committed suicide in 2000.

The Coroners Service of British Columbia is also investigating her death, but cautioned the investigation will be long and complex — and the public should not expect instant answers.

Coroner Barb McLintock said that answers will not come quickly to explain the death of the troubled teen, and issues ranging from school and mental health support, to cyber and social media bullying must be explored in order to make effective recommendations to halt similar tragedies.

McLintock says once the coroner's report is written, the case will go to a child-death review, and could even be referred to a third level for review by a multidisciplinary team of experts.

Todd's family members have said they hope her YouTube video can be used in a positive way to prevent future youth suicides.

Crisis help lines

Friends and family are holding a memorial for Todd today Saturday October 13th in the afternoon at Samuel Robertson Technical, one of her former schools.

Amanda Todd: Teenager Who Had Chronicled Her Bullying On YouTube Commits Suicide

Amanda Todd posted a heartbreaking video on YouTube five weeks ago detailing her battle with online harassment and bullies. I've posted the video below. But this 15-year-old young girl gave in to the battle and committed suicide. Amanda hung herself on Wednesday October 10, 2012.

I don't watch TV because I'd rather read, but when I was shown this vid I was angry, very saddened and in tears that another innocent has been taken by the angels to a place where the cruelty, the pain, the bullying will never touch her EVER. A place that's Eternal, but not among us. A place on earth that should have treated her with compassion, experienced first love, solid friendships and lived a good long life.

The video below describes her experiences with bullying. The video was posted to YouTube about a month ago by Amanda Todd. Amanda was a Grade 10 student at CABE Secondary in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.

Original description:

I'm struggling to stay in this world, because everything just touches me so deeply. I'm not doing this for attention. I'm doing this to be an inspiration and to show that I can be strong. I did things to myself to make pain go away, because I'd rather hurt myself then someone else. Haters are haters but please don't hate, although I'm sure I'll get them. I hope I can show you guys that everyone has a story, and everyone's future will be bright one day, you just gotta pull through. I'm still here aren't I ?

Halloween fascinates me!

I personally have this huge fascination with Halloween. In fact! it means more to me than Christmas. Christmas? is all fluff and foo foo and it's just unappealing in every which way. Who the hell cares about that fat jolly bastard dressed up and a red suit with his fat gut hanging out, his red nose which is clear signs he's an alcoholic and a repelling laugh that just gets on your every nerve! I need to be royally high just to bear it for fawk sake. Fawk NO!

For me it's the demon, the witches, the ghosts, the vamps, the zombies and the ghouls. The stories, the movies, the lore and everything Halloween holds most dear to my heart. It's MORBID and it's DEATH which I find fascinating to my very chore. Basically? It's that one time of year that I fit right in. Why? Cause I'm the most morbid fawk around. I bet y'all didn't even know I have a Ouija board that I keep... hidden under my bed! Told yeah: M.O.R.B.I.D with a capital M. That house on the pic is even my dream house. Not typical a like, but fawk if I love it!

I've posted a tidy little poem by Poe just to celebrate the up coming event.

The Haunted Palace

In the greenest of our valleys
   By good angels tenanted,
Once a fair and stately palace—
   Radiant palace—reared its head.
In the monarch Thought’s dominion,
   It stood there!
Never seraph spread a pinion
   Over fabric half so fair!

Banners yellow, glorious, golden,
On its roof did float and flow
(This—all this—was in the olden
   Time long ago)
And every gentle air that dallied,
   In that sweet day,
Along the ramparts plumed and pallid,
   A wingèd odor went away.

Wanderers in that happy valley,
   Through two luminous windows, saw
Spirits moving musically
   To a lute’s well-tunèd law,
Round about a throne where, sitting,
   Porphyrogene!
In state his glory well befitting,
The ruler of the realm was seen.

And all with pearl and ruby glowing
   Was the fair palace door,
Through which came flowing, flowing, flowing
   And sparkling evermore,
A troop of Echoes, whose sweet duty
   Was but to sing,
In voices of surpassing beauty,
The wit and wisdom of their king.

But evil things, in robes of sorrow,
   Assailed the monarch’s high estate;
(Ah, let us mourn!—for never morrow
   Shall dawn upon him, desolate!)
And round about his home the glory
   That blushed and bloomed
Is but a dim-remembered story
   Of the old time entombed.

And travellers, now, within that valley,
   Through the red-litten windows see
Vast forms that move fantastically
   To a discordant melody;
While, like a ghastly rapid river,
   Through the pale door
A hideous throng rush out forever,
   And laugh—but smile no more.
